Analytics

This site uses PostHog (hosted in the EU) as its only analytics processor, to understand which work gets viewed and how the site performs. The legal basis is your consent: nothing runs until you accept the cookie banner, and IP addresses are discarded after an approximate location is derived.

What's collected

• Pages viewed and the referring link
• Clicks on links and buttons, and time spent on a page
• Which case studies are opened and read to the end
• Language toggle (EN/FR) usage
• Aggregate click heatmaps (x/y positions only)
• Page performance metrics (Core Web Vitals)
• Approximate country/city, device type and browser

What's not

• Names, emails, or any data you type
• Session or screen recordings
• Cross-site tracking or advertising networks
• Any selling or sharing of data with third parties

Retention

Analytics data is kept for up to 1 year, then deleted.

Contact form

When you use the contact form on the About page, the name, email address and message you submit are sent to me by email through Resend (EU region) and stored as a backup in this site’s CMS (Sanity). The legal basis is your request to get in touch. They are used only to reply to you — never for marketing — and are kept until the exchange is resolved and for up to 12 months after, then deleted.

A hashed, shortened form of your IP address is stored alongside the message to limit spam. No cookie or consent is needed for the form itself — it only acts on what you type and send.

Your choice

You can decline analytics from the cookie banner at any time. Clear your browser's local storage for this site to be asked again.
